Neurofeedback
Neurofeedback At Neuroplastree Centers
What Is Neurofeedback?
Your brain controls everything you think, feel, and do. External stimuli, life experiences, genetics, and many other factors can force your brain activity out of harmony, leading to imbalances that prevent you from conducting your best life. Consider the things you go through on any day, week, or year. It’s easy to see how the neurological pathways controlling your emotions, reactions, thoughts, and feelings may lose balance due to the ongoing stressors and stimuli we encounter regularly.
After completing a qEEG brain map, your clinician can identify the relationship between specific stimuli and the corresponding brain activities. In developing your treatment plan, you’ll work with our team of neurofeedback experts to determine what an efficient and healthy response to specific stimuli that act as stressors in your everyday life looks like for you.
Neurofeedback is a training program specifically for your brain. It is not like other types of training you may do - when you are learning calculus in school or building muscle in the gym. Neurofeedback, also known as EEG Biofeedback, relies on the most fundamental conditioning and feedback. The end goal is to create new pathways, new brainwave activities, and increased flexibility within the brain. Let’s talk more about the process of neurofeedback and why it has become such a popular treatment option in the health and wellness arena.
At Neuroplastree Centers, we are constantly enrolling in continuing education to ensure that we can offer our clients a top-of-the-line neurofeedback treatment experience across all of our California and Texas facilities.
Our team of neurofeedback specialists is well-versed in a variety of unique training methods, including:
-
Amplitude Training
-
Low-Frequency Training
-
Z-score Training
-
Coherence Training
-
Referential Training
-
Alpha/Theta Training
-
Synchrony Training
We utilize the data collected from your qEEG brain map to determine which of our systems and various training types will best suit your needs and get you to where you want to be in the most efficient way possible.

Why Consider Neurofeedback
Abnormal brain function is at the root of many cognitive, emotional, and behavioral disorders. By collecting data through qEEG brain mapping, neurofeedback experts can, quite literally, see how different parts of your brain are performing and working together. Analyzing your qEEG Mapping results allows your clinician to identify which brain frequencies may be out of balance or underperforming.
Additionally, qEEG brain mapping can be highly informative for you. The information gathered can help you identify patterns that may be holding you back from achieving your optimal self.

The Process Of Neurofeedback
Neurofeedback measures the brain’s electrical activity in real-time and uses a positive reward system to train your brain to respond more appropriately to various stimuli.
Your qEEG brain map informs the specific areas of your brain that can benefit from neurofeedback training. For example, the protocol for real-time activity measurement of a patient struggling with anxiety will look quite different from a patient whose underlying cause for struggle is related to autism spectrum disorder.
