Brain Mapping (qEEG)
Initial full assessment of Brain
Service Description
Our quantitative EEG assessment (qEEG) consists of a comprehensive brain map assessment, which refers to the signal processing and extraction of features from the electrical activity of your brain waves. Your brainwaves are small electrical potentials, which can be seen in real time, as a result of neurons (brain cells) actively firing in your brain. qeeg-mapping.jpg This assessment compares your brain data against the Brain Resource International database which has an unprecedented breadth of standardized and integrated data with respect to electrical brain function measures and autonomic measures, as well as psychological and neuropsychological measures. Comparison of individual brain map and cognitive skills against standardized norms and development of visual maps and brain topographies (identifying areas of disturbance in the brain). Review of the rest results and development of a personalized treatment plan based on brain map, cognitive profile, symptoms profile, treatment goals and priorities. It is often recommended that a re-assessment be taken in 6 months to look at objective changes in brain, progress of cognitive functions and to refine next phase of treatment.
